For more than 20 years Barbara Callow has been creating custom calligraphy and hand lettering for diverse clientele, ranging from intimate private parties and small businesses, to large corporations, marketing and advertising agencies. After earning a masters degree in Creative Arts, she continued her studies with a variety of nationally and internationally renowned calligraphers, including Thomas Ingmire, Karlgeorg Hoefer and David Howells. Barbara has been featured in publications such as Letter Arts Review, In Style Magazine, and Martha Stewart Weddings, and her work has been exhibited in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington DC. She was also invited as on-site calligrapher for Gucci’s Celebrity Fundraisers in New York and Beverly Hills. Barbara’s areas of specialty include custom calligraphy for product packaging, headlines, logos, custom copy and greeting cards, book and magazine editorial articles as well as creating invitations, and other calligraphic needs for social events.
