Biography
Robert has been a professional in the field of architectural illustration since 1986. He received a BA, in Art with a minor in Architecture from Roger Williams College in Bristol, RI. He has also studied at the Rhode Island School of Design as well as under Paul Stevenson Oles at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Currently Robert works in watercolor. Images have been commissioned for all stages of design, planning, and promotion for clients including architects, corporate identity firms, entertainment companies, interior designers, developers, law firms, real estate offices, retailers and urban planners. In addition to working out of his own studio, Robert also works in client’s offices, giving the design team direct access from viewing sketches, color studies and the final watercolors in progress making the image process truly collaborative. Robert’s images have been published in The New York Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, Imobilier, Unique Homes, brochures, in numerous local papers and on the World Wide Web. Robert serves on the Design Review Commission for the city of Walnut Creek. Since November 1995, Robert has been located in the San Francisco Bay area, working for an international clientele. Costantino, Douglas Jamieson and Dick Sneary.
