I am an artist influenced by anything and everything. From fashion, to people’s faces, to antique keys eroded in time, I like to find beauty in the everyday and the extraordinary, both of which can be fascinating subjects. In fashion, I appreciate not only the workmanship of stylish garments but also the aesthetic value of couture designs and the models that enhance them. Intricacies of fine details and unique cuts of fabrics fascinate my imagination, and excite my curiosity. In my illustrations, I aspire to accentuate the artistic power of fashion and emphasize the beauty in all of my subject matter and surroundings. As my portfolio exemplifies, besides traditional compositions, I also enjoy creating collage inspired compositions using my painting technique. I feel that those types of layouts can sometimes better encapsulate the topic or subject matter. I am open to pretty much any subject matter and believe that my style can be applied to a broad range of both subjects and forms.



As for my style, I tend to keep proportions generally close to reality, but accentuate certain aspects in order to make it my own. In doing so, I strive to give my traditional watercolor and pencil technique a fresh and modern look. Since I love to be challenged and try new things, I am open to many areas of the industry. Artwork can enhance the ordinary and make anything beautiful, so I am looking forward to seeing my work on a variety of mediums, such as clothing, accessories, magazines, journals, packaging, advertising, etc.



I am a graduate of the Illustration Bachelor of Applied Arts program at the Sheridan Institute of Animation, Arts and Design.
