American advertising and underwater photography specialist Chris Ross honed his skills under one of the greatest Black and White underwater masters, Ernie Brooks. Chris
developed a keen eye for the subtleties of water and light. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia he began his career working as a professional photographer with corporate and commercial
clients such as Mercury Marine, O'Neill, Indian Motorcycles, Lucent Technologies, Sports Illustrated and Outside Magazine.



GA photographer Chris works the coast from Miami to Atlanta and is available for national and international accounts, as he very much enjoys shooting the extreme side of life. The oceans are where his deepest passions lie. Chris Ross’ photography expresses the delicate balance between man and the sea, and is stylized with the use of shape and form.

Artist Statement



As a young boy I always dreamed of being a marine biologist and idolized Jaques Yves Cousteau. While in Graduate school at Brooks Institute of Photography on the California coast, the dream was
