Started as a Jr. copywriter (okay--secretary, but then I took a course at The New School and got street cred), followed by a shift to recruitment advertising. Traded NYC for San Francisco and promoting the two city papers. Took a dream job at a greeting card company and then launched my own business (as I moved onto a houseboat in Sausalito). Lots of web work, scriptwriting, interactive, several of my own greeting card lines, one small book (so many more in my head), posters, prints, buttons, napkins, photo albums, journals, on and on. My nautical theme continued with a move back east a few years ago and a home/office near the Long Island Sound. You could say I am restless, but it's more like I'm curious. All that buzzing in my head is great fodder for writing. More ideas than I know what to do with. Perhaps you'd like one?
