Since 2001, Paul Harding has been running a full-service Sculpture and Illustration creative shop focusing on action figures, statues, book covers and concept art. He has completed over 100 action figures to date.
Recently, with Paul taking over cover illustration duties for # 6-10 of Darren Shan’s books, The Demonata (Little Brown and Co.), the series burst onto the New York Times best-seller list.
Paul Harding received his BFA in Illustration from Syracuse University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts in 1998. He promptly moved to New York City to pursue a career in multi-media design and soon became Design Director for Iguana Interactive, a design-rich presentation company. After the fateful collapse of the small company it was onward in the action figure sculpting, character design and editorial illustration business. Such clients included The Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Book Magazine, and Mezco Toys. After a couple of years the large comic book and toy companies decided to take a chance and it has been wave after wave of toy sculpting.
