Julien Chung is building an international reputation with his whimsical illustrations of comical animals.

Inspired by European comics, urban vinyl toys and modern posters, his cheerful animal art is fresh, bright and shares an emotional connection with its viewers. It appeals not only to children but to the child within all of us.

Using his 25 years of experience as an award winning Canadian graphic designer and art director, Julien is able to adapt his animal characters to any number of product applications ranging from greeting cards and wall art to tableware and accessories for home decoration.

His designs can be found on products in gift shops in over 50 countries around the world.

Julien is also currently producing a daily comic strip in the French language called Maskarade, featuring the household pets in a circus setting.

He occasionally draws people, robots and illustrated maps in the same whimsical style. He is also available for commercial freelance work for children's magazines and books.
