A Navy submariner in the late 60s, the artist is currently a practicing psychotherapist in the Virginia Beach, Virginia area. He is a 1965 graduate of Brown University, and holds graduate degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1973 and 1984 (PhD). Music and colored forms make direct connections with a person's feelings, and this is what the artist strives to capture in his landscape oil paintings. The artist has been married 35 years and has two grown children. The artist will "paint to order" by commission, creating landscape elements and colors to suit the end client.
