I try to capture the world as I see it, unfortunately one of my drawbacks may be that I'm a little too optimistic and often feel like I overlook much of the bad in the world- I mean nature is innately violent and no one will get out alive- but why not enjoy the trip with a smile, right? I try not to ever say no to a challenge or new assignment that may allow me to grow as a photographer. My work has been described as "photojournalism with an ability to connect with subjects", and I like that description.
