Christine Kornacki has lived most of her life in the quintessential New England town of Simsbury, CT. Inspired by the beauty of the rolling hills and endless summer afternoons, she became captivated by Illustrators such as Norman Rockwell and Maxfield Parrish. After graduating from the Hartford Art School she took her Illustration diploma and moved out of her quiet neighborhood to experience the loud, bustling streets of New York City.
Living between these two very different worlds, her lifestyle reflects the fluid change in subject matter that her artwork can envelope. Classically trained as a realistic painter, her oils emanate with a rich and bold vibrancy. She can create the whimsical charm needed to capture the eyes of children and everyone with a light heart.
This type of work is ideal for children's books, book covers, advertising illustration, birthday invitations, greeting cards, and any festive program.
She can take this same use of colorful imagination, and pair it with a more serious undertone. This type of work can be used for any number of subject matter, including editorial, magazines, corporate illustration, portraits, CD art, product art, and anything in the entertainment industry. The sky is the limit, and Christine's award winning artwork, is jumping higher every minute.
