Before starting his own freelance design studio “Altagraf” in the Spring of 2006, Bill Healey held the position of Creative Director for
NDW Communications, one of the Philadelphia region’s most innovative graphic design groups. With a B.A. in fine arts from the
University of Pittsburgh and a degree in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Healey spent his career accruing experience with accounts such as Alcoa, BASF, PNC Corp., Westinghouse, PPG, Independence
Blue Cross, M-real, Weyerhaeuser and PENN Medicine. Bill has been honored with more than 150 awards and his designs have been published in over 30 industry annuals including Graphis, HOW, Print, Graphic Design USA,
Communication Arts, Creativity, and more.
