RoseMarie designs and illustrates award winning children's games, toys, puzzles packaging, activity books and premium incentives for multi-national corporations. Illustrations are created using oils, acrylics, watercolour, pen and ink, graphite, gouache, mixed media or as digital art using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS. RoseMarie creates lively, whimsical creatures, and renders licensed characters. A designer of logos as well as advertising, promotional materials and structural graphics she has also designed and illustrated a series of animated Christmas windows for the Hudson's Bay Company. RoseMarie recently illustrated an award winning children's book 'The Canadian Shield Alphabet'. Full of interesting and little known facts her 26 oil paintings and numerous spot drawings highlight the vast region of the Canadian Shield a 4.8 million square kilometre area (almost half of Canada) and the people who live there. As a fine artist RoseMarie paints award winning wildlife, landscapes and portraits in oil, watercolour and acrylic. In realistic style and with a strong sense of composition and knowledge of colour theory she paints , heritage homes, fantasy, floral and figurative subjects. As a fine artist RoseMarie exhibits her work in numerous galleries and juried exhibitions. RoseMarie has several lithographs and giclee on canvas limited edition reproductions in the marketplace. Traveling extensively throughout North America and the high Arctic she sketches and photographs gathering reference for studio paintings and illutrations. RoseMarie is a member of the Arts & Letters Club of Toronto, Artists for Conservation, The Willisville Mountain Project, SCBWI, Arctic Quest, Polar Artist Group.
